What Is Stock Aging?

Stock aging reports how long inventory has been on hand. Aging buckets (for example 0–30, 31–90, 90+ days) show which products are still moving and which are quietly becoming working-capital problems.

Aging is an action list

Treat old buckets as decisions: transfer to a store that sells the item, discount, return to supplier, or write off. Do not leave them as a curiosity.
