- What is Sphereventory?
- Sphereventory is cloud-based inventory management software for warehouses, stores and multi-location businesses. It combines stock control, POS, purchasing, credit sales, finance and AI insights in one platform so stock counts, sales and profit stay in sync.
- Who is Sphereventory designed for?
- Growing retailers, pharmacies, wholesalers, distributors and multi-branch operators who need live stock visibility instead of spreadsheets. It is built in Accra for Ghanaian operations and used by multi-location teams more broadly.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Mini, Starter, Professional and Business plans include a 14-day trial with no setup fees. Create a workspace on the signup page and start adding locations, products and sales immediately. After the trial, subscribe in Settings → Billing or top up the wallet for SMS/email while you decide.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. Open a trial workspace with your name, business name, email and password. Pay later from Billing when you are ready. Trial workspaces use wallet top-ups for SMS/email because included monthly credits unlock on a paid active plan.
- Can I book a demo instead of exploring on my own?
- Yes. Choose Start a Demo on signup to open a live workspace, or contact the Accra team if you want a guided walkthrough of warehouse, POS and finance for your locations.
Inventory, warehouses and transfers
How stock, receiving, multi-location inventory and warehouse-to-store movement work.
- Can I manage multiple stores and warehouses?
- Yes. Sphereventory is built for multi-location inventory, including warehouse-to-store transfers and location-level reporting. Each unit belongs to a warehouse or a store so Accra and Kumasi never share a single misleading total.
- Does Sphereventory support warehouses?
- Yes. Warehouse stock, purchase orders, GRN receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch and transfers sit alongside retail POS so warehouse teams and store managers work from the same quantities.
- Can I manage multiple warehouses?
- Yes. Inventory is location-based, so you can run several warehouses and stores on one company account.
- Does Sphereventory support stock transfers?
- Yes. Transfer stock between warehouses and stores with live quantity updates and an audit trail. Stores requisition, warehouses pick and dispatch, and receiving updates the destination location.
- Does Sphereventory track stock expiry and FEFO?
- Yes. Lot tracking, expiry dates and first-expire-first-out allocation are part of inventory control — especially useful for pharmacies and FMCG.
- Does Sphereventory support FEFO?
- Yes. First-expire-first-out allocation can be enabled so sales deduct from lots that expire first.
- Is inventory management the same as warehouse management?
- Warehouse management is part of inventory management. Inventory also includes store stock, POS deduction, transfers and valuation. Sphereventory covers the full loop rather than a warehouse list on its own.
POS, credit sales and retail
Checkout, Mobile Money, receipts, discounts and selling on account.
- Does Sphereventory include POS?
- Yes. Fast checkout, discounts, split payments, Mobile Money, receipts and till reconciliation sit in the same system as inventory, so a sale deducts stock immediately.
- Does a POS sale update inventory immediately?
- Yes. Completed sales deduct stock at the selling location and feed sales, discount and profit reports.
- Does Sphereventory support Mobile Money?
- Yes. Mobile Money is a first-class POS payment method alongside cash, card and split payments.
- Does Sphereventory support credit sales?
- Yes. Credit invoices, outstanding balances, payment receipts and proforma conversion are included, connected to inventory so you do not promise stock you cannot dispatch.
- Can I send receipts to customers?
- Yes. Receipts can be printed, downloaded or sent by SMS and email when customer details are captured at checkout. If a customer has no email on file, the system tells you before attempting an email send.
Pharmacies and dated stock

- Can Sphereventory manage pharmacy inventory?
- Yes. Batch tracking, expiry, FEFO, transfers, purchasing and POS are designed to fit pharmacy operations from supplier receiving to the counter.
- Does Sphereventory track medicine expiry dates?
- Yes. Lot and expiry fields, FEFO allocation and expiry-risk reporting are part of inventory control. Receive the date with the batch, then sell with FEFO.
Purchasing, finance and reporting
Buying, valuation, P&L and the reports managers actually use.
- Does Sphereventory include purchasing?
- Yes. Purchase orders, supplier records, GRN receiving and supplier scorecards are part of the platform.
- Can I track supplier prices over time?
- Yes. Sphereventory surfaces price variance so cost increases are visible before they quietly erode margin.
- Does Sphereventory support inventory valuation?
- Yes. Inventory valuation methods are configured per company and used in reporting and finance views, including COGS and gross profit.
- How does Sphereventory calculate gross profit?
- Gross profit is period sales revenue minus COGS, where COGS is sold quantity times product cost price. Discounts reduce revenue and therefore profit.
- Can Sphereventory integrate with accounting systems?
- Sphereventory includes its own finance suite (P&L, trial balance, journals). Talk to us about integration needs for your existing accounting stack.
- Does Sphereventory provide AI inventory insights?
- Yes. AI commentary, forecasts, exception alerts and reorder prompts are generated from the same sales, stock and exception records your teams already use.
- Can I export inventory reports?
- Yes. Sphereventory supports PDF and CSV export, plus scheduled report subscriptions.
- Can managers view branch performance?
- Yes. Reporting includes location-level sales, inventory value, transfers, discounts, staff activity and exceptions.
Ghana, pricing and getting started
Ghana Cedi, Mobile Money, local support and published plan prices.
- Does Sphereventory support Ghana Cedi and Mobile Money?
- Yes. Operational amounts and pricing are Ghana Cedi native, and Mobile Money is a first-class POS payment method.
- How much does inventory management software cost in Ghana?
- Published plans start at Mini GH₵99/month (stores-only), Starter GH₵199, Professional GH₵299, and Business GH₵599, with a 14-day trial and no setup fees. Optional modules and specialty add-ons are listed on the pricing page with live monthly rates. Enterprise is custom — see /pricing for the full matrix.
- Does Sphereventory support multiple stores on every plan?
- Mini is locked to one store (stores-only). Starter and above support warehouse + stores; Professional and Business are built for multi-location operators. Limits are listed on the pricing page.
- How do SMS and email credits work?
- Paid active plans include monthly SMS/email credits for the subscription period. Trials and free plans use wallet top-ups. When included credits run out, sends debit the wallet at platform unit rates configured by Sphereventory.
- What are Asset Hire and Events?
- Optional paid modules for renting assets (dispatch/return, deposits, agreements) and managing event bookings with packages, payments, and linked hire orders. Current prices are on the pricing page — contact sales to enable them on your workspace.
- Can I add individual modules without upgrading my plan?
- Yes. Warehouse & purchasing, operations, finance, AI insights, premium report packs, asset hire, and events can be purchased as optional modules on top of Mini, Starter, Professional, or Business. List prices are published on the pricing page and stay in sync with what our team configures — contact sales if you need a bundle quote.
- Is there local support?

- Can I import from Excel into Sphereventory?
- Product and operational imports are part of onboarding. Talk to us about your current spreadsheet structure, or start the trial and add products as you go.
- Can Sphereventory replace my accountant’s tools?
- Sphereventory includes IFRS-style P&L, statement of financial position, cash flow, trial balance, cashbook, journals and inventory valuation. Discuss with your accountant whether that is sufficient or whether you still need a dedicated accounting suite alongside inventory operations.
