How to Reduce Dead Stock

Dead stock is inventory that is not selling and is unlikely to sell soon. It locks cash, occupies space and often expires. The fix starts with seeing it.

Measure days since movement

If a product has quantity but no sales or transfers for 90 days, treat it as a decision — discount, transfer, return or write off — not as healthy stock.
